He studied law at the University of Chile and obtained his law degree in October 1975.
Professionally, he has served as chief prosecutor of the western area of Santiago Health Service (1975-1976), as a lawyer of the Mayor’s Office of the Municipality of Santiago (1976-1979), as associate lawyer of the Halabi Bravo and León Asociados study (1980-1984), as Chief Lawyer of the Provincial Government of Copiapó (1984-1996), as Alternate Judge of the Local Police Court of Tierra Amarilla (2005-2009), and subsequently, as an independent lawyer in his own legal study.
In 2019, he joined García Parot as a partner, currently being the Legal Director of the Copiapó branch.
He was Deputy Provincial Governor of Copiapó, during years 1991 and 1992.
