He studied law at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, He obtained a Bachelor Degree in Law and Social Sciences in 1971 and his Law Degree in January 1974, year in which he founded our Firm, currently called Garcia Parot Abogados.

During his career he was Head of the Legal Department of Hotelera Nacional, HONSA, provided legal advisory in the Comptroller General of the Republic , was  Chief Lawyer of the Defensa Municipal de San Miguel and has been a lawyer as an external consultant of important national and foreign companies, such as Banco de Santiago, La Tercera de la Hora (COPESA), Lan Chile, Maestranza Diesel, CEMENTA, HEBEL, PROMACO and many other important companies in the industrial  and commercial activities in our country.

He was a regular professor of Commercial Law at the Centro de Estudios Financieros (CEF), and since year 1986 untill year 2016 he served as a judge member of the Cuerpo Arbitral Nacional in labor matters.
