Nicolás García Lorca

He completed his Law studies at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, as well as an EAP at the University of California, Santa Barbara, United States. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Legal and Social Sciences and his law degree in 2007.

He joined GARCIA PAROT in 2004, becoming a partner in 2010, and has since led the firm’s Corporate Law department.

Since 2018, he has shared his experience and knowledge as a professor of Corporate Governance and Business Law at Universidad Finis Terrae, as a professor of Business Law at Universidad del Desarrollo, and as a professor of the courses “Regulatory Environment of Corporate and Criminal Compliance” and “The Role of the Compliance Officer” in the Master’s in Legaltech & Compliance Officer program at the University of Valencia (Spain).

Additionally, since 2023, he has been an active member of the World Compliance Association, reflecting his commitment to staying up to date with the best practices and international standards in compliance. He is also an international arbitrator at the Shanghai International Arbitration Center, further strengthening his expertise in commercial dispute resolution and international litigation.
